The Taylor Made Tour Burner has been introduced to provide the average golfer with the ability to hit the ball off the tee with high launch angle and low spin-rate – just like the pros. It has been developed with input from Tour players and overall it is 17 per cent lighter than the standard Burner.
TalyorMade has also produced a Tour Preferred (TP) version for those more skillful players. It differs from the standard Tour Burner by having a 2 degree club face (the standard is square faced), a choice of three shafts - Matrix Ozik Xcon-5 (55-grams), Mitsubishi Diamana Whiteboard 65 (65-grams) and Fujikura Rombax Z 75 (75-grams) – and standard weighted grip (the original Tour Burner is lightweight).
