| SasQuatch SUMO by Nike |
The SUMO in the Nike SasQuatch SUMO stands for “SUper MOment of inertia”. The high moment of inertia (MOI) of 4950 is achieved by using the PowerBow technology to place additional weight on the bottom of the driver while simultaneously moving the center of gravity back and deeper into the clubhead.
A high MOI means that the clubhead will twist less on misshits to ensure that the golf ball travel further and straighter than if a lower MOI driver was used.
Unlike the Nike SasQuatch SUMO-2 golf drivers, the standard SasQuatch SUMO boasts a conventionally shaped clubhead. It is constructed from titanium and measures 460 cc. This means if the SUMO-2 squared shaped head is not to your liking you could always try the regular SUMO.
The shafts are the graphite Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana. The lofts are 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 13 degrees.
